Greetings fellow highway enthusiasts!

My name is Michael Ballard. I've been interested in highways for most of my life. I formerly lived in Santa Clarita, home to a few nice sections of old US 6 and US 99. The Ridge Route used to be in "my backyard". I miss it. I now live in San Diego, just half a block from old US 80 and US 395 - the ONLY cosigned historic route that I am aware of in California.

Its been a while since I've worked on my scvresources.com and sdrocksnroads.com websites as well. I recently moved them to a different program and have been updating them quite a bit. I've added lots of photos, maps, and other information. They contain histories and tours of US 6, US 99, the Ridge Route, old SR-118, and more. The Los Angeles Area Highways Page is back in full force. They never really left, but were not updated as often as I'd like. The scvresoures.com website has been up since 1995 - one of the "pioneers". I'm new to this forum and I hope to contribute quite a bit of useful information.
