Combination interchanges

I-90 exit 446 in Billings, Montana is a combination of a trumpet, a SPUI, and a diamond interchange (Map).

Are there any other interchanges out there that look complicated but are just combinations of normal interchanges?

But is that a complete interchange (by itself)? Merrill (either direction) to I-295 north is handled by hopping on the northbound Southern Connector first. I suppose that's effectively a diamond, but it is another road.

It's possible. I believe that part of I-70 is KTA-maintained, not sure if it ever had tolls though. Don't quote me on it, though. I don't get out to WyCo much.

You find these where a mainline was freewaytized, and they just through in a flyover, etc. US322 & I-99 in State College, PA has this done to an extent (though the ramps to the old road start a little before the freeway interchange, it sits almost on top of the old road.

I-40 and TN-155 west of Nashville has this as well. Flyovers from 40 to 155, and then 155 has the throughline south through two lights where there's also the diamond interchange from 40. Part of this is alleviated with 40 WB to 155 NB having a very long off-ramp to avoid bunching of traffic and a tighter ramp.

It is KTA-maintained. According to Wikipedia, the turnpike ends at Exit 420. I can't find anything that states if that section was tolled, but it wouldn't surprise me. The Turnpike predates I-435 by a decade and it wouldn't shock me if most of that area was farmland until then.

It's not even that rare of a configuration. Rare for the northeast, but there are a ton of them out there.
