I can see abbreviating Grand Rapids when space is limited...no reason to do that here.

Unique Exit 92 signage on I-95 South in North Stonington, CT, lensed last week.  It'll get replaced most likely next year, along with all signs on I-95 from Exit 85-93....

People HAVE to see at least a LITTLE bit of the irony in that slogan now.

There are a lot of communities that have the same problem, nationwide.  Yet, only Flint is getting the firestorm.

Notice how there were a lot of Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) pictures getting thrown in.  That's not going to work anymore now that we're past exit 93.

That's fairly typical - usually the biggest city, or the 1st city to suffer, gets the attention.  Look at McDonalds.  They are hardly the only companies to have the issues they have, but they're the ones you hear about. Heck, McDonalds is known for their high-calorie, high-fat meals, but yet when you compare them to other similar places, most if not all have higher-calorie offerings.  Wanna eat healthy at Panara Bread instead?  Hope you jogged there...about 13 of their lunch/dinner sandwiches have more calories than the Big Mac!

The only roadway you'll see in NJ at this point is the Parkway.  And then the outlier courtesy of the DRPA well into the 300's!

By saying "old I-70" I was under the impression the post was implying that the road is not currently I-70. Maybe I misinterpreted.

That part of I-70 was decommissioned in 2014, in anticipation of the now-cancelled Red Line project. It now ends 3 miles west of there, at I-695.
