Thanks. Look closely at the gap within the assembly and you can see the reassurance shield on the route itself.

To southern Kentucky and a recently-installed KY 1009 sign.

Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

I knew I had a 1010, but wanted to get 1009 in case nobody else did. Kinda interesting to post a pic and then have someone else post one of mine immediately thereafter.

Invoking the 24-hour rule.
This is probably the first entry from South Korea, here is Provincial Highway 1011.

LOL, invoking the 24-hour rule again.  It's turned into an echo chamber in here.  Maybe everyone lost interest.

I was worried I wouldn't make it back to the States in time to post one in the 108x range. Guess the was no need to worry.

I've parsed out my posting over the last few dozen numbers because I have some but not all of the numbers. The next one I have is 1019. From there I will be in good shape to post from my own collection for a quite a while.

Hate to do it, apologies in advance.  I was really hoping to find an image of Chinese Expressway G1015.  Alas, the crutch:

kphoger

No apologies.  It's not a crutch, it's a treasure trove!

I guess I like the challenge of finding exotic roadsigns in far-off places.

Just wondering, can we shorten the 24-hour rule to 12 hours so we can keep moving the game faster? We seem to be sort of slowing down now and I don't want to resort to GSV.

I suggest not speeding it up, at least not unless and until the game continues past 999. We're already making reasonable progress toward that threshold.

I think we'll chug along well past 999. Ask again when we reach 1200. In the meantime, I don't see much benefit in reducing the timeout from 24 hours to 12 hours.

Well, so much for that...

It's getting to the point where we might need GSV...

I've been looking for a picture of Kentucky 1016 to no avail.

I have an ace up my sleeve. The PA secondary route system to be exact. All are signed.
Pleased to meet you

Looks like we won't get to use GSV for quite a while since the Texas FM picture site is rather complete.

I think the four other challenge threads are taking away from this one.

What happens when I don't pay attention -- I had a different picture for that exact route!

jbnv

Give me 24 hours, and I can give you a 1019. In the meantime, credit the Texas bikers again.
