Have you ever seen anyone (more specifically, an adult) eat food off the floor at a restaurant?

Once in the late '90s, I was at the local Wendy's. A man was carrying his tray with his hamburger over to his table. Somehow, the burger fell off the tray and landed on the floor. The top bun came off, so the bun and the rest of the burger were in separate piles.

He just picked it up off the floor, reassembled it, and ate it!

I thought that was so funny!
Might as well face it, pooing is cool

No, but a few months ago I dropped half a donut on the pavement outside the Apple House in Linden and I immediately picked it up and ate it anyway.

No, but I'd eat bubble gum off the floor.

A bird, at one point, probably shat in the exact spot he dropped his donut. Thus, the donut was likely infected by left-over remnants of the shit, therefore, 1995hoo ate bird shit. The circle of life.

You'd be surprised how much people remember. For example, I remember [Content too disturbing for AARoads].

I've seen children drop and retrieve food and resume eating it.  I'm surprised it doesn't seem to matter if parent(s) is around and notices it or not.

Kid at phone store recently dropped skittles (?) all over the place, picked 'em up and continued eating them.  Mom was unconcerned.

I'm a parent of three boys (and a daughter who lives far way), and I'm all for building their immune system while they're young.  For me, it depends on whether a spot is likely to have been walked upon a lot.  Don't want any horse- or swine-borne illness coming from a farmer's boots an hour ago, after all.  But otherwise, I'm happy with them picking up a few germs here and there.  And what bird shit germs are even still alive after a few hours, anyway?

Why did he unwrap the burger before getting to his table?

He could have wanted to admire the beauty of the burger.

Well, if that was in fact the case, then I think he admired it a little bit too much, because he dropped it on the floor.  :-D  :D

Three possibilites:

1) Wendy's didn't wrap their burgers in the late 90s
2) he asked for it unwrapped
3) bandit made the story up, but didn't do enough research

Who cares, if it's eating booty? Can't complain about it, no matter which way it happens. :bigass:

A friend of mine once ate a burger he bought at a greasy spoon that had a cockroach stowaway in the bag that it was put in.   When he started eating the burger later at home, the roach crawled out of the bag but he still ate the rest of the burger.
