Skyscraper walls

What highways/freeways have the most dramatic skyscraper walls/canyons?

I think the view from I-5 in Seattle is a worthy example: https://goo.gl/maps/AY5mnwb9xjAEMShL7

I-405 in Bellevue is slated to get several major towers over the next few years (most over 25 stories), which will form its own wall. https://www.djc.com/news/re/12128705.html

There's a nice "wall" along North Lake Shore Drive in Chicago:

I think "skyline" is the word you're looking for.

I think the OP is looking for skyscrapers lining a highway, not the general view.

If this is the case, then one of my personal favorites is I-71 through downtown Cincinnati. It's especially nice at night.

I-290   I-294   I-55   (I-74)   (I-72)   I-40   I-30   US-59   US-190   TX-30   TX-6

I-80 East from US 101 in San Francisco has a pretty dramatic skyscraper Vista north of the freeway approaching the Bay Bridge.

Most freeways in urban areas in the US were placed where land was cheapest/least desirable. For one of these to develop, the city would have had to gone through an extensive enough growth period that land adjacent to the freeway became not just desirable, but so expensive as to justify building up rather than out.

It happens but certainly not frequently. Definitely nowhere in Oklahoma, for instance.

The 705 in Tacoma, especially southbound, has not just a literal wall, but a wall of relatively-tall buildings along the edge (though there is an alley between the freeway and the backs of the buildings).

How about GA 400 through Buckhead, where the skyscrapers are literally on top of you?

It's not a valid link. You botched the hell out of it.

The URL, and nothing else, should be immediately after the equals sign and before the close bracket.

Please check your links for wellformedness before popping off at people who point out that they don't work.

Just clicked on it again & it works fine.

I will post a regular link to the location. However the link is perfectly fine on my end. So no idea what happened.

You're posting non-standard links that aren't compatible with other devices. So it works for you and nobody else.

I see no reason why this is purple.

The quoted post seemed needlessly belligerent, thus the purple.
