Bizarre incident.  It's about as bad as the two drivers in Ionia, Michigan who got into a road rage incident and then decided to duke it out in a car wash parking lot.  Both wound up dead, shot by each other.

Folks, keep a cool head behind the wheel (and anywhere else for that matter).

What annoys me about the site is that they say "comments are posted from viewers like you".

Except that some of us paid attention to grammar lessons in third grade, and we also wouldn't say things on the internet which might result in getting one's head kicked in during a real-life discussion.

good god, who prefers this to written articles?  anyone?  why is this being rammed down the throats of the news-seeking public?

Channel 18 (WLEX, the NBC affiliate) apparently prefers just loading a video when you visit the news story page.

Channel 27 (WKYT, the CBS affiliate) gives you the option of whether or not to view the video. I prefer that approach much better.

Probably because that's a television news site. Cheaper for them to just put up their TV story on the web than to write a full text article summarizing it.

If it's video from a live shot, probably. If it's a canned story/investigative report or part of the regular newscast, many stations around here just post what was put on the teleprompter or CC.

Gulp this jackwagon is from the Hometown and I know someone who works with him. I have actually seen him around town and yes he is a speed demon.
