Leudimin, you might need to stay up late tonight, or maybe Monday evening ;)

And I wonder, still I wonder...
Peace to you, and... don't drive like my brother.

CNGL-Leudimin

Well, if I stay late tonight ET I won't sleep! (Remember, I'm six hours ahead of ET)

Too bad Vickers got a DNF, but thankfully Kenseth won. Due to flaroads getting a load of points, I lag to 110 points behind. And now:
Chase for the cup:
1. 6018555 (flaroads), 194 points
2. jcm9572 (mefailenglish), 159 pts
3. jlyben9174 (Alex's wife), 143 pts
4. Leudimin (Me ), 141 pts
5. AARoads (Alex), 139 pts
6. kshighways (route56), 128 pts

Overall:
1. (2.) 6018555 (flaroads), 4,058 points (+194) (Runner-up)
2. (1.) jcm9572 (mefailenglish), 4,044 pts (+159)
3. (3.) jlyben9174 (Alex's wife), 3,955 pts (+143)
4. (4.) Leudimin (Me ), 3,948 pts (+141)
5. (5.) kshighways (route56), 3,896 pts (+128)*
6. (6.) AARoads (Alex), 3,527 pts (+139)

*Entered in round 4, lowest score up to there assigned.

Next round we go back to New Hampshire. Due to technical issues we have now $2 million (€1.5 million) more to spend on drivers. Oh, and I have renamed my team for the chase.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

Alex

It being such a flat race, not knowing when it was going to resume, and having it end up around midnight ET added to an already strong lack of interest due to all of the happenings from the previous weekend. Ended up having to keep tabs on it via race buddy after an equally flat Night of Champions. Plus football sucked yesterday for me as well!

CNGL-Leudimin

If I say I woke up just half a hour after the race ended... :-P.

I think it's worth pointing out that 194 was the top score for the week...not just in our group, but for everyone playing on ESPN.  That's quite a feat!

I thought the dollar values seemed high for the reset salary cap.  Glad to see I wasn't imagining things.

CNGL-Leudimin

Well, someone achieved the feat of getting 214 points (The highest possible) in the 2nd visit to the Pocono raceway.

Thanks for pointing that out! I couldn't believe it so I had to see for myself. My name appears 4th on the list too!! Woohoo!! Go me!!!!

From the cellar to the penthouse, baby!!!! Yeah!!!!

By the way leudimin, this is MY moment to shine, not yours to spoil!!!!!!!!!!! haha

CNGL-Leudimin

It seems the trend has inverted, we are now diverging in the scoreboard. I'm now down to 130 points behind, once again flaroads has got a lot of points and therefore no Runner-ups are given this week :P. But beware flaroads, I expect an epic fail from you soon... And now for the scoreboards:
Chase for the cup:

6. (6.) AARoads (Alex), 3,728 pts (+163)

* Entered in round 4, lowest score up to there assigned.

Next week we go back to Dover DE. As I said, they should build a few more racetracks in order not to repeat venues.

What do you mean by having no "runner up" by my name this week?? I've been waiting to see it all day!! lol

I'm sure I will have another downward slide, but even when I do I will still be ahead of you!! hehe

CNGL-Leudimin

IMO the leader cannot be the runner-up.

Anyway, I did a major overhaul of my roster. I have replaced all drivers to take advantage of a really increased cap .

OK, I went back through the thread and seen where you didn't give yourself runner-up since you were in the lead, so I can see why you didn't do it for me.

I might have to change my roster as well to maintain my lead...haha  :-D

dagnabit! I cannot catch a break. 3rd Straight week in the Cellar. :(
Peace to you, and... don't drive like my brother.

Next week we get back to the right side of Kansas City. I'm thinking of reverting the name of my team back to the original one...

It looks good for me . After clinching the first place on a getting-lost-in-the-woods (orienteeing) race, I'm on a temporary runner-up. Hope it becomes definitive.

PS: If anyone was wondering, Izas (the name of a secondary valley on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees) is pronounced something like "ethas", that is it, like the name Ethan but with a "s" instead of a "n".

Indeed, my switch of both Busch brothers did not help me this week. I knew I should have left well enough alone...

FLRoads

Okay, I stand corrected. The bad streak continues for Kyle Busch.

Alex

Hey I have an idea to make NASCAR less boring, let us make all drivers switch to experimental tires for a Chase race!!

CNGL-Leudimin

Well, I had a dream... when all of yours crashed onto the 130s while I stayed up in the 180s. Now I see there is still some race to go.

Looks like I squeaked by this one, though I don't know how.

Um, you might want to put that runner-up by my name. If you didn't realize it, it was listed first since I have the most wins this segment, thus the tie-breaker goes to me. Just sayin... :D
