Wrong address for a business

I'm not using Google Maps as my source here but it helps due to the fact that Google Maps has the information incorrect as well. Ok there is a McDonald's in my town (Saginaw, MI) that has the wrong address even on the McDonald's website. A little information about the area around this McDonald's is that on the old Saginaw Trail which runs north of Detroit the street is called a number of names starting with Woodward in Detroit. So as this street gets out in the country it turns into Dixie Hwy. north of Pontiac and then travels through Flint as Saginaw Road, after leaving Genesee County the road resumes the Dixie Hwy. name and keeps that name all the way until Hess Street at the Saginaw city limits where it turns into Genesee Avenue. Well here's where the problem is, there is a KFC addressed on Hess, but there is a Boost Mobile, Dollar General, Liquor Basket, Dollar Tree and O'Riley's all addressed on Dixie and all are closer to Hess than McDonald's is but McDonald's has an address of 3700 E. Genesee Avenue. I just got into an argument on Facebook with someone that claims Dixie Hwy. starts at Bewick a few blocks south of Hess and is telling me that I'm wrong. Clearly Dixie Hwy. starts at Hess if you look at GSV but I'm still getting told I'm wrong. Just wondering where else this happens at? I'm sure it has happened before.

A while back, I had to report an incorrect address for a gas station on the outskirts of Springfield (A Philips 66). They fixed it, though it wasn't that far off in the first place and anyone trying to find it would know what they are looking for.

Amazon gave me the wrong address for their Fort Worth distribution center. Given that I was trying to mail them products for them to sell, that was kind of a huge issue that resulted in my package being returned by USPS. The situation was fortunately resolved, just in the nick of time, by me deciding never to sell through Amazon Prime ever again.

Well wouldn't GSV at least have a real picture at some point in time? I meant I wasn't using Google Maps as my source for the address but including that McDonald's website also has the 3700 E. Genesee address.

Google has the wrong phone number for the Junior Williamson Rest Area on the Mountain Parkway. The phone number listed is actually the direct line to a certain highway district employee's desk. Since the state offices are currently closed and phones are forwarded to employees' cell phones, that employee gets calls at 2 a.m. on the weekend from people who think they may have left their purse or wallet in the restroom and are wondering if anyone turned them in.

A CVS I used to work at had its address listed as "(town name) Boulevard" , which in reality is just called Boulevard in said town. Unfortunately the likes of Google Maps don't recognize this and often have the address listed as "(first word of town name) Avenue" , which is about five blocks over in the middle of a neighborhood.

Oh, if I had a dollar for every time I had to send in a correction for an address involving 2 different scenarios in my town.  The first was for a shopping plaza where every store is 835 Queen St.  Every store was put in as 835 W Queen St.  West Queen St is a road that runs between CT 10 and CT 229, but once it crosses over CT 229, it enters an industrial area, then dead ends.  You'd look at the map program and keep seeing a store or restaurant (Bed Bath & Beyond, Outback, Dollar Tree) popping up at that location and being a local you knew it was wrong.  The other was for businesses on Main St being reported as on North Main St.  Both are part of CT 10, but many of the locations in the 600 block of Main were being posted on North Main.  Problem is the highest numbers on North Main are in the 500's, so there is no 600 block. They'd all be bunched up at the location where the street name changes.  Another thing to consider: the 2 blocks are in different ZIP codes.
Interstates I've clinched: 97, 290 (MA), 291 (CT), 291 (MA), 293, 295 (DE-NJ-PA), 295 (RI-MA), 384, 391, 395 (CT-MA), 395 (MD), 495 (DE), 610 (LA), 684, 691, 695 (MD), 695 (NY), 795 (MD)

My wife does direct sales.  She recently had a party order set to ship to our house for a customer here in Wichita.  Somehow, when she put it through, the system dropped our street name from the address, so it ended up as "720 S Wichita"–which appears to be a warehouse for BG Products near downtown.  She only found out when she got an e-mail notification on Saturday that delivery of the package failed because the business wasn't open.  So she advised FedEx to hold the package for in-person pick-up.

Here's the fun part:

On the address label, it was the customer's name but was supposed to be our address.  FedEx states that, in order to pick up a package, your address has to match the one on the shipping label.  Well, the address on the shipping label doesn't match ours or hers.  Fortunately, the customer was able to pick it up by showing photo ID.  Her address obviously didn't match, but she has a rather unique name, so...?
