This entire week has been in the high 50s to mid 60s. Clear, other than the occasional blanket of clouds lasting for no more than an hour. Somewhat windy, however.

For thanksgiving, I am headed to Kentucky, where the weather then will be similar, but more cloudy and less windy, with the occasional rain shower.

Global warming kicking in as temperatures got into the 60s today.

I've been enjoying the warm weather so much lately.
I, for one, am in favor of global warming.

We had our first freeze of the season Tuesday night.

Today, I'm wearing shorts. Still 60° at 7:45 PM.

Very nice, highs low 70s, lows 40s, brilliant sunshine, very slim chance of precipitation maybe 20%.

A colleague who went home for Thanksgiving just e-mailed pictures of a light snow on the ground this morning in northern Indiana. Meanwhile, here it was 35° and sunny when I got up. Slept with a window open but a sliding vent screen in place to allow fresh air with no drafts, which was nice because the fresh air felt good.

Cold enough to snow for over an hour but warm enough to not accumulate. The worst weather IMO, cold and wet, no snow to enjoy, slick roads and poor visibility. I rolled down my window at Taco Bell and got a clump of melting snow to fall in the car. Gotta love Indiana weather.

Wait, is Indiana the only state where that happens?

For real. That happens in like 25 out of the 50 states. 'Guys, my weather is a little colder than average! :ded: :ded: :ded: :ded: :ded: :ded:'

Or "wait an hour" or "wait a day" or whatever.  The timeframe varies, but it always ends with "Only in ____!"  As if variable weather is unique to that person's locale.

I hear that all the time in Wisconsin even though our weather is relatively static and boring compared to most of the country.

It definitely applies a lot more to the Midwest and Great Lakes than it does to the South, especially the Southwest.
