My first thought when I saw this was I-95 at I-93 in Canton, MA, but of course that's a 2di not a 3di.

But it turns out I was looking in the right vicinity - I-195 in MA  :)

I had read about that massive submerged-express-lanes project somewhat recently which is how it came to me so fast...but agreed, I definitely want to check that out too!

Not a lot of distinctive features to go on here, but could it be I-490 (NY)? It looks kind of like this section.

Not I-490 - but you're in the right region (Northeast), and you're on the right track in that despite looking rural at the exact location, there is a major city not far away.

There is also a well-known bridge a few miles straight ahead from this location.
