Guess the speed limit challenge

Sorry, I meant to check on this a few times over the weekend, but it spaced my mind. I should know better than to post one before I have a 3 day weekend

45 mph

45 MPH is correct! Unfortunately. It's Argonne Rd near Spokane, WA. I turned onto this road from Stoneman Rd. Stoneman is a narrow road with rolling hills, driveways, and a few sharp curves, and the posted 45 felt very appropriate there. Argonne felt completely different in comparison.

After turning onto Argonne, it felt like I turned onto a state highway. I wasn't entirely sure that it wasn't part of the state highway system (it's not). It definitely feels designed for high speed, moderate capacity traffic. I totally expected a 55 or 60 MPH speed limit. Even if it was a county road, in Washington you'd often get a 50 instead. Then I saw the 45 sign, wtf? I drove 60-65 regardless.

From what I gather, Argonne is kinda acting like the de facto Spokane bypass, while US-395 North Spokane Corridor is not yet finished. That's why I was using it (driving from the north side of Spokane over to Coeur d'Alene). Traffic levels will probably go down a lot once US-395 is finished.
