Interesting.

I love the two views seen of both directions of US 54 here in Downtown El Dorado, KS where US 54 changes alignment.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

Here's one where one line is upper case while the other is lower case.

I've noticed in NJ, really the only place I've personally seen these signs, is that the TO XXXXX portion is always capitalized. TO BRIDGE, TO TUNNEL

The only street blades on the island of Adak, AK. This is at the corner of Main Road and Kagalaskan Drive.

Most roads have names per Google Maps, but this is the only one I saw signed anywhere.

Just west of the US 23/US 223/OH 51/OH 184 interchange (https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10220672414480775&set=a.10220672541083940)

I doubt this was the smartest spot for the Kroger Pharmacy drive thru.

A keep right sign on a paved median.  There isn't even an intersection here.
That sign is meant to have traffic pass to the right of a median nose. Intersection not required.

Here's another example from Nevada, where a TWLTL on Alt US 50 near Hazen turns into a paved median. There was an intersection behind this camera angle, but that's a ways back.

I saw that sign in many multi-lane roundabouts in Charlottetown, PE, some years ago. Is there only in PE that this sign exist, or it is used elsewhere in North America?

- How many people are working in here?
- About 20%

...yes, it's my real face. Believe it or not.

I'm a semi driver in Canada (mostly in QC, NB and NS)

States/provinces/territories I didn't went in: AB, AK, AL, BC, HI, KS, LA, MB, MN, MS, MT, ND, NL, NT, NU, RI, SD, SK, WA, WI, YT.  Well, maybe some options for a post-retirement road trip. Maybe.

There is a really weird font on the US 1 shield on this sign

Quote from: Scott5114 on July 30, 2024, 08:01:59 PMStrange white-background NV-160 shield, using the guide sign version of the state outline for some reason.

Given the ongoing effort to widen SR 160 from I-15 westward over the last 20 years, this sign has to be relatively new. Google street view puts it as far back as January 2008 though.

A few of these odd white-background state route shields made the rounds years ago. There were a couple up in the Reno-Sparks area too, at least there were in the early-mid 2000s. There was this one at the beginning of SR 648 in Sparks on Glendale Ave westbound just west of McCarran Blvd—it was replaced with a standard shield circa 2017 when NDOT/RTC reconstructed the roadway. I can't remember where the others were now... I'm vaguely remembering one might have been on McCarran Blvd in that same vicinity, but it was likely a SR 650 shield that would've been removed/replaced when NDOT adopted the entirety of McCarran Blvd into SR 659 circa 200.

Spotted this along I-41 on the way to Oshkosh today. I didn't know such a place as Slinger EAST existed.

I've seen signs with the same purpose, but text-only.

In Astoria there also used to be "No ____ Turn" signs on top of bollards in the crosswalk (like so), but I believe the last one was removed 5 years ago.

Maybe that's how they're skirting the "don't duplicate a control city at a decision point" rule.

So does British Columbia, and I think it is the rule there.

Clicking the link before reading your post, I assumed the interesting thing here was the "1/8 mile" distance legend.
