The use of U Turn on an interstate guide is odd even for New Jersey here.

The arrows  all pointing in different ways instead of Del. Water Gap is more than odd here.  Usually NJ pull throughs list a control city and no arrows.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

This one where the overhead implies both ways of the split lead to I-95 via I-78 EB, but the ground shields say keep right.

Originally I-95 was on the overhead to use the outer roadway to the right to avoid weaving at the NJ Turnpike toll plaza.

This NJ Turnpike install is awful looking. Especially the outer roadway pull through using a VMS instead of a normal guide.

Keep in mind that the VMS looks more solid in person.  Cameras don't capture them well.

NJTA likes using VMS/roll signs for their signage because of the basically daily overnight weekday closures of either roadways. Makes it much easier for drivers

It's odd to see to LEFT warnings on two different signs. However when two consecutive left lane ramps exist you get this.

Is it just my imagination, or do lots of overhead gantries in Ohio have their signs mounted at a slight angle to each other and not exact vertical?

To be honest, exits 238 & 239 are pretty much one in the same long left ramp. The fact that there are 2 different exit numbers because exit 239 to SR-237 is a long SB exit/NB entrance ramp to I-71.

Exit 238/I-480 is accessible from both directions of I-71, albeit in different locations.

QuoteIt seems somebody has a truck problem.

The trucks should really stay on US 6, which bypasses Laceyville here to the north.

This sign is confusing. No arrows or distance info. Plus the road departing can make one wonder if they want PA 462 traffic to exit here.
