Yes, it was red for a while being late afternoon on a Monday.

Nothing particularly interesting, just wanted to say that this is one of the most ignored signs in the history of everything.

That TO NJ 166 makes no sense.
The double-arrow and the 166 are correct. The TO and the right-pointing arrow make no sense.

A contract is being let next month to replace some signs on US-23 and M-14 on the north side of Ann Arbor.  MDOT is usually good about sign design but some of these make me wonder who in the office is smoking what.

US-23/M-14 split at their westernmost interchange.  The sign designs show APL-style arrows even though there is no option lane.  These should each be two separate signs with down arrows.  Note that while it's signed as a left exit to M-14, the distance to the exit is shown under US-23 because that's the only place it will fit unless the sign height is increased and the distance placed in the middle.  Also:  No sign replacements at the split or in the opposite direction for the easternmost interchange.

Eastbound M-14 before the westernmost interchange.  Again with the APL arrows even though there's no option lane.  And no "LEFT" tab for the left-hand exit.

Eastbound at the exit.  Again no "LEFT" tab and use of the curved arrows instead of the now-standard up/left and up/right diagonal arrows.

Northbound US-23 at the easternmost interchange.  Again, curved arrows instead of the now-standard up/left and up/right arrows.  And a white-on-green exit arrow instead of the now-standard up/right diagonal arrow in the "EXIT ONLY" field.  No replacement for the one-mile advance diagrammatic sign that erroneously shows an option lane for the exit to eastbound M-14.

I'm not sure what the difference between a regular moose crossing and an active moose crossing is, but it sure sounds ominous.

What an interesting way to sign exit 10.

Sounds like a high risk area. Here's Québec's version:

No no, risqué elves. The ones that are commonly featured in trashy fantasy B-movies.

Philadelphia is a control city on PA 611 SB near Willow Grove for the Penn Turnpike entrance?

This don't jive.  Philly is ahead on straight through PA 611.  The PA Turnpike don't even go to Philadelphia directly east or west from here.

Maybe? Just past that curve is milepost 53 B: https://maps.app.goo.gl/9RpBJUjSM592fBkw9

It's still a bit of an oddity since for curves, you usually just have the standard signs like these:

US 395 has some interesting signs. I never knew why it has the weird letter milepost signs or the Curve signs. I'm guessing it's to let drivers know in advance because the curves could come up as a surprise to some? That's really my only guess. Also, the normal curve and mileposts signs are generally spread out throughout the rest of Oregon, which makes these signs even more of a mystery.
Applying for new Grand Alan.

Amaury

The lettered mileposts are because of the different highway names Oregon uses for its highways: https://www.oregon.gov/odot/Regions/Documents/Region5/US%20395_OR207%20Alpha%20Mile%20Markers_Web_Final_0104178.pdf

The mileposts reset when the highway name changes, even though the route number remains the same. In this case, US 395.

Eh, just seems like another way to designate the location of curves.  Doesn't seem totally odd.  Just some extra attention being made to the road.

Nightly detour on NY 394, I think due to work on the I-86 bridge over Chautauqua Lake.  Official detour probably goes around the lake the long way (northwest from I-86) due to the need for it to be totally on state-maintained roads:
