Two things:

1. Playing football in the snow as a child was incredibly fun.

2. I don't like snow anymore.

Is it just me or is it almost always an NFC East rival playing the Cowboys in this time slot?

The Bills in 2019 are the last non-NFC East team I can recall playing in Dallas on Thanksgiving.

I thought the opposite. It brought back fond memories of playing fall soccer in Minnesota where it was snowing in September and our English coach wouldn't let his team of 8-year-olds wear sweatpants, since proper footballers wore shorts.

They played the Raiders a couple years ago as well.

The NFL likes to schedule division rivals in Thursday games to make sure they are playing those games on an equal amount of rest. Including the Thanksgiving night game, only four of the 18 games played on Thursday AREN'T division rivals.

For a long time, the NFL had an AFC team play in either Dallas or Detroit on Thanksgiving and an NFC team play in the other city, with it rotating each year as to which of them hosted the AFC opponent. Reason: TV. Which network aired a game was, for many years, determined by the visiting team's conference. So having one NFC visitor and one AFC visitor meant each of the two "main" networks would get a game, and alternating which home team hosted which conference each year meant both networks (originally CBS and NBC, now CBS and FOX) would get the Dallas game every other year. They've since changed the way the broadcast assignments work.

In recent years, Dallas has hosted the Chargers, Bills, and Raiders on Thanksgiving in 2017, 2019, and 2021, respectively. This year will now be the second time in three years they've hosted the Giants.

Forgot about that crazy Cowboys-Raiders game, but this will be 4 of 5 years that they've played either the Giants or Commanders.

There were also the 1994-97 seasons that had NBC and FOX alternate between the two sites.

True, but that doesn't change the accuracy of the text you boldfaced.

Every week for the past two years, the Browns have regretted letting Baker Mayfield walk.
From the land of red, white, yellow and black.

One of the biggest question marks that I have this season is: who's going to win the NFC West Division?

Wait, weren't the Commandos favored by 20 points?

Too close to call. You are looking at teams that are either 6-5 or 5-6, so there will be tiebreakers in play. Washington is at 7-5 so the Wild Card slot is out at the moment.

Washington wasn't as good as their record indicated either.  Although, I'm disappointed the Dallas demolition died for a week.

What a night for Barkley. Made the Rams defense look like Swiss cheese.

How will the price of gas at FasTrac in Central Square, NY affect Lebron's Brady's legacy?

TheHighwayMan3561

I'm so tired of stupid shit happening every year when the Vikings play in Chicago. Even when they win (which is now 5 straight seasons, shockingly, after winning there only three times from 2001 to 2020), bizarre and inexplicable crap happens.
