Still can't believe UNC got into the tournament.

If they make it past SDSU, I think they could make it to the second round.
After yesterday I had to last-minute put them in the sweet 16. Before I had Ole Miss winning tomorrow.

Yeah, I didn't expect them to totally obliterate SDSU like they did, and I ended up doing the same thing.

In just about three minutes or so, Montana will be a scratch and Wisconsin will head to the second round. Unless some crazy shenanigans happen, the Badgers are a 🔐🔐 for the second round.

Whoever had Clemson winning against McNeese State is losing a fortune right now, and this won't be the last upset either, if history has taught us something:

Hogs advance to the Sweet Sixteen. I thought from the start the SEC was way overrepresented and Arkansas should have been the last team picked. That's bearing out with the results so far.

JayhawkCO

I realized that I hadn't actually entered the group. Just added myself and looks like I'm tied for 2nd. Not bad.

Is it? The SEC set records for the most second round teams, most sweet 16 teams, and is very likely to at least tie if not set the record for the elite 8. An all-SEC final four - which I picked - is still possible.

And so is a no-SEC final four.

I could delete the part about the final four and my point would stand just fine.

Final four power rankings:

1. Auburn - extremely good
1. Florida - extremely good
1. Duke - extremely good
1. Houston - extremely good

kendancy66

Next Saturday, NCAA has final four and the AAROADS Forum has final 2 between me (kendancy66) and Can't Bet Illinois in IL .  If Houston and Auburn win then I win, If Duke and Florida win then Can't Bet Illinois IL wins . I have Houston and he has Duke.  I am pretty sure whoever wins that game will also win the AARoads Forum. We will see next Sat or Mon

The last time all four No. 1 seeds advanced to the Final Four was in 2008 (UCLA, UNC, Memphis and eventual champion Kansas), the only other time it ever happened, and they also met in San Antonio, like this year's quartet will:

Of course I went to bed while Duke was leading.......

Well, Paige Bueckers already has something Caitlin Clark does not: a national championship, which was UConn's 12th when they beat South Carolina yesterday, and it was not even close!

And tonight, it's Houston leading Florida, which raises the possibility of the SEC losing in both the men's and women's finals. When was the last time that happened?

There's an interesting theory around the UConn women and the weak conference they play in. They played 9 ranked teams in the regular season, but 7 were OOC (only other ranked BE team was #22 Creighton). This may have enabled UConn to try out different formations, lineups, etc. toward season's end, knowing that they wouldn't have to "stick to what works" in order to win some close games.

Then the tournament comes around, they're (rightly) given a 2-seed due to comparative SOS with SC, USC, UCLA, Texas... and they "upset" three other 1 seeds.

Given my miserable standings in more recent bracket tournaments, I will gladly take my final position this time around. :D
