New sign from the US 59 Diboll bypass... with perhaps the worst arrow placement I've ever seen.

We need a new thread called "Actually absolutely no kidding worst garbage not just mediocre road signs".  Maybe then people would think three times before posting.

^ It looks like a town name was meant to go in that spot.

Here's an arrow on the wrong side of the bow:

If that had been an at-grade intersection, I'd've assumed someone at TDOT had just simply made a sign for the left turn and swapped-out the arrow for the right turn without moving it.

Interestingly, the sign on the other side of the road and interchange is correct.
It's all fun & games until someone summons Cthulhu and brings about the end of the world.

I also collect traffic lights, road signs, fans, and railroad crossing equipment.

This is probably a re-post but...

I don't even know what to say...

It's not necessarily a sign per se, but it's a very sus combination of a 2-way stop and a signal. When the green light shows, you still apparently have to come to a stop at the stop sign and take turns with vehicles on the side street. There is no separate stop bar for the signal... the stop sign and the signal share the same stop bar.
I can drive 55 ONLY when it makes sense.

There were a lot of intersections like that in Massachusetts when I grew up there. I don't know if they still do, or what MUTCD says about it. The presence of stop signs at traffic lights simply means that the stop signs take over if the traffic light is out of order. When the lights are working, you ignore the stop signs.

While that would make sense, I first heard about this intersection from a traffic lawyer's Instagram page, and apparently they are dead-set on writing tickets here... tl;dr the most restrictive condition prevails unless you get a good judge.
