Gaming Desk Recommendations

So, I decided to treat myself and recently purchased this gaming monitor last week on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DSKF4DM3

I don't really do any heavy gaming on my PC—the most I do is classic games like RollerCoaster Tycoon, but nothing that most people would use a whole gaming computer setup for—but I just liked the monitor and got it. Back in June 2023, I also got a gaming keyboard and mouse (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NLZUM36) and gaming speakers (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08V1F3TFB) from Redragon simply because I've never had things like that that light up, and I thought they were awesome!

Anyway, I love the monitor! My only issue is that the monitor stand or base—whatever you want to call it—is too big for the upper shelf of my desk. I tried putting the monitor there, but the front part of the stand's legs hung over the upper shelf, and I was concerned that the monitor could fall, even though the legs weren't very much over, so I moved it down to the glass top. However, since I can't push it all the way back due to the upper shelf being in the way, the monitor is too close to my face, so this is just temporary until I can manage to find a good desk. I kind of need a new desk, anyway, since the finish has gotten damaged over the years on the keyboard tray and on the bottom due to getting wet and me not drying it properly.

For reference, this is the desk I have and have had since December 2019: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004VLW38Q

While the upper shelf above the glass surface is handy, the main reason I got the desk is because it's the only one at the time that I could find with wheels. My new monitor is 32". If it weren't for the upper shelf of my current desk, as mentioned, even though its depth—measurement from front to back—is only 26", everything would work fine because I could just push the monitor back further, but I can't. In theory, I suppose I could take off the stand and just put the monitor on the upper shelf, but because of how thin it is, I'm worried it could easily tip over with the smallest movement. Also, my current desk has a keyboard tray, which leaves me room on the glass top for other things while still having room to set things down, such as when having dinner.

There is a bundle that other people have done that includes this mount, which I think would also solve my issue: https://www.amazon.com/Redragon-GMK914-Single-Monitor-Mount/dp/B0DPMS1CNR

Obviously, it can also be purchased by itself. It does support up to 32" monitors and supports up to 17.6 pounds. However, that page does not list the item weight anywhere, which is weird, as you'd think it would. Although if I ask the Rufus AI further down the page, it mentions the monitor is 18.66 pounds, which is above the maximum weight allowed. And a look at the box it comes in says it has a net weight of 6 kilograms, which is about 13.23 pounds and below the maximum weight allowed, and a gross weight of 9 kilograms, which is about 19.84 pounds and above the maximum weight allowed. I would guess that the weights on the box are correct and more trustworthy than an AI answer. For the weights on the box, I'm not sure if I should be looking at net weight or gross weight. If the former, then that means the mount should work, as I can't believe they would make a bundle with an item that can't support the weight.

Before getting this new monitor on the fly, this is a desk I had my eye on: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CY26QM8W/

However, the depth is only 19.7 inches, even less than my current desk. It also doesn't have wheels or a keyboard tray, which isn't the end of the world, but when I'm already fighting for room... However, if that mount does end up working, then it shouldn't be an issue, either with my current desk or if I get that or another desk.

Here's a photo showing my current setup and how the monitor is too close to me:

What are some good desk recommendations?

Hmmm.... I have this desk which measures 36"D x 72"W x 29.5"H, thus allowing me to have three 27" monitors on arms.

Funny how these things line up.  I'm looking for a new desk as well, as the one I presently have no longer meets my needs now that I'm using my laptop full time (it didn't really before, either; it has raised portions on the left and right plus an overhead portion that combined precluded any ability to have dual monitors).  I'm especially curious if there's anywhere that will deliver a new desk, do any assembly that's needed, and haul away the old desk, as I don't have anyone to help me with it and I can't leave furniture by the dumpsters.  Plus it needs to be both small enough to fit in my combined living room/office but large enough to meet my needs.  I also have a keyboard tray, which would be nice to maintain, since I don't like using my laptop's keyboard alone when not traveling, but maybe that will become less of a concern if I move somewhere I can separate the living room and office (my current problem is that I also eat meals here so I can watch the news and other things, so I need room for that).
