I can hear Freewayjim screaming about your dash being visible from here.

Have to say I respect his rules on his page, but do find them having a strict-nun-at-Catholic-school-vibe.

There's also a weird contrast between his rules' attempts to ensure quality and the actual quality of the posts on that page.  Rules are just leading people to share clickbait from other sites rather than good road photos.

You mean all the Buc-ees fanboy posts?

Perhaps, but mostly "Here's a doctored up drone shot of questionable origin" kinds of stuff.

Quote from: kphoger on June 12, 2025, 09:16:58 AMNo, no, it's actually Interstate I and Interstate 29.  They're concurrent through there.

Are you sure that it ain't Interstate (√-1)-29? :pan:

As a huge math nerd I must applaud you for this. Love it.

During recent sign changes along I-27 regarding renumbered exits, which will align with the interstate's future Ports-to-Plains-related length, 1 new BGS was posted online (FB I think) for Amarillo College.  It had the new exit number (# 652A) -- down twice -- below "Amarillo College" on the main panel, and above on an exit number tab.

Meanwhile the rest of us are screaming about South Dakota's dash being visible there.

Don't think there's really a need to have two ON 405 shields here (should probably replace one of them with a QEW shield, IMO): https://maps.app.goo.gl/FBJRiK7iPBepJyWd6

I saw this while I was out for a walk with my family the other day.  It looks at first glance on GSV that it might be redundancy, but it's actually not:  three stop signs all visible from this vantage point.  But it's actually two very closely spaced intersections with narrow angles, and the three stop signs are for three different streets.

Ontario often signs only control destinations without cardinal directions (for example, the QEW is usually signed only as Niagara or Toronto, as in https://maps.app.goo.gl/zkFc2QWKeJaMzXhx8).  This appears to be one of those occurrences, with the destinations standing in for "West" and "East."  In that context, I wouldn't consider it redundant.
