We all know about the Single Point Urban Interchange (SPUI).  And I already mentioned the Single Point Rural Interchange (SPRI), which is rare enough.  But there's one related interchange type that's even less frequently used.

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to the Single Booth Toll Interchange!  Allowing for a full service interchange between two toll roads with just a single bridge a single toll booth, this innovating design affords those toll agencies suffering from a severe funding deficit a more affordable option than traditional interchange designs, as it saves a significant amount of upfront construction cost.  Furthermore, with a single booth toll point, agencies can have the flexibility to retain human toll collection by only needing to staff two or even one employee at any given time.

Are there not more bridges because of the "ramps" (for lack of a better word) having to cross each other? You don't show such in the diagram, so maybe there are traffic lights or stop signs or some such instead?

And people heading from the south to the west or the north to the east have the opportunity to pass through the booth two times!

Yes, they're at-grade.  Lights or stop/yield signs as appropriate, depending on the location.

Yes, that was intentional.  After all, if you're using two toll roads, then you should pay two tolls.  This is another cost benefit of the design.  I realized shortly after posting that I'd neglected to require it for the other two movements, but I was too lazy to remove the ramps from my illustration.

I once attempted to jump a creek, Dukes-style, in a golf cart. So I have to vote for I-695 in Maryland.

The greens, especially if I can drive over the cart directional signs on my way to them.

Following not too far behind, sandtraps and tee boxes.

Didn't know he passed away.

Reminds me of the setups that people have created in Cities: Skylines that force traffic to loop through the same toll booth(s) multiple times before they can proceed. Like this one.

A Dukes of Hazzard-style bridge, consisting of only a ramp at each end.  Significant cost reductions.  If the ramps are built from dirt, no environmental issues.  And it definitely provides incentive for motorists traveling below the speed limit to step on it.
