Why is Yahoo Acting Strange Lately?

I normally use Yahoo for my searches on what highway signs to play in the various games on this forum, but I've been noticing that the website is glitched, because the Search feature no longer works when I try to access it, and there are just blank spaces where oodles of articles were before. Is anybody else experiencing the same problem?

Phew.  It's not the 1990s.

Phew.  It's not the 1990s.

And being back in the 1990s would be such a bad thing?

Henry's bigger problem may be needing a new ISP, because AOL is ending its dial-up service on September 30.

As far as search engines, consensus among the tech guys at work seems to be that Alta Vista is going to dominate that space over the next few years.

Sure, since it would mean re-living the 2000s yet again.

I haven't noticed anything weird.  Then again I was Prodigy Online user and got stuck in my ways using the Yahoo Search engine once the service became more than a closed ISP.   Gribblenation.org is hosted on a Google run Blogger and I do get some amusement from seeing us pull up Yahoo searches.

Also, there's Excite, Ask Jeeves and Magellan to try as well.

Sadly, Infoseek is now in the internet graveyard although some the domain name still use Infoseek in Australia and Japan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infoseek#Domain_name

Woah Yahoo takes us back to the late 1990s/early 2000's when they were the most used search engine of that time.

I'm afraid if I used Ask Jeeves it would find ways to trick me into wearing a jacket and tie at all times.
