I hope you get banned.
Why do you say that?

Do you remember when I compared you to Tolbs?  You really need to stop trying to use this forum to unnecessarily seek attention.  Tolbs did that and it eventually it led to his demise as a member here.

In other words, you're starting to annoy everyone and you probably ought to stop doing that.

In general, when a thread is locked, it's because people probably don't actually want to see what it would turn into if it remained unlocked. Other than Jonathan's temporary cool-down locks, I can't think of a thread unlock that has really had a good result.

I was going to add something here but I see that it is not worth it.

Because you told him to be honest.

Yet you posted anyway.

Heavens, what this might have turned into:  https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=1633.0

I tell you, this Alps guy has no sense of humor:  https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=5254.0

A total killjoy, if you ask me:  https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=10578.0

Oh, good, finally a thread that HE started got locked:  https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=15727.0

(Yes, Nazelrod, I ignored all the ones that you locked.)

That's probably the only one of that batch I would have considered locking. Disclosing which bank someone keeps their money in gives phishers more information than they should really have, so it's really not the best idea to allow the forum to be used for disclosing that information unnecessarily.

The other threads illustrate that the mods sometimes have a difference of opinion on such things.

So you added nothing and basically posted that you decided to post. Which technically breaks forum guidelines.

Noting guideline violations inside the thread isn't required. The forum provides a Report to Moderator button for that.

After this controversy, I have decided to take a voluntary leave of absence from the forum, even though I tried for about 5 years to join my second favorite website in the whole wide world, I decided that maybe at the moment I might not be mature enough for this site, for this same reason I am not on social media yet, I hope to come back to posting one day, but I will definitely be on this site as a guest, especially since I occasionally use this family of sites for research for personal projects. But I am taking a voluntary leave of absence from posting. Have a good evening, everybody.

You don't need to take things so personally. Just learn from your mistake.
