Florence Lake Road east of the Kaiser Pass Road/Edison Lake Road junction.  Kaiser Pass Road and Florence Lake Road were built as a single corridor which was completed in 1922.  Functionally they were intended to be annexed into the once planned Piute Pass Highway:

Edison Lake Road at the South Fork San Joaquin River Bailey Bridge.  This road was completed in 1954, but the original bridge was wiped by the river.  A concrete element of the original bridge can be seen beneath the Bailey span.

It's interesting to me that county roads in California often still have things like county lines marked. In most states, that's a nicety you only get on state roads. On other roads there's just a bump and the only way you know what happened is if you happen to have an intersection with a County Line Road or 100th Street or something like that.

Indeed.  In other places, even signed county highways don't have state line signs.

This was located on US 57 in Eagle Pass, TX. Not a particularly high quality photo, but the way I was able to frame it through the car window really pops.
