Speaking of metro expressway-to-freeway conversions, here's a new overview of the proposed Savage/Burnsville upgrades.

The I-35/TH 61 London Road roundabout is taking shape. The yellow warning signs on I-35 are now updated to say "ROUNDABOUT AHEAD" and a diagrammatical sign for the final configuration is also posted on I-35 NB. I'll see if I can have time to get photos of it late this week.

I haven't seen the layout.  Are they keeping the free-right from NB 35 to NB 61?

Quote from: froggie on October 02, 2026, 04:20:25 PMI haven't found anything on the stretch of 10 between Jarvis/Adams and Armstrong Blvd that isn't outdated, but the planning a dozen years ago suggested no changes to the median weigh station, the eastbound rest area at the weigh station, or access to the homes along the eastbound lanes between Adams and Riverdale Dr.  That long ago study suggested an RCUT at Bowers Dr, but since then the Bowers intersection was removed with a RIRO built at Riverdale.

So I just discovered this.  MnDOT plans to resurface 10 between Edison St and Armstrong Blvd next year.  Part of the project includes J-turns at Cleveland/Jarvis St, Alpine Dr, and Beatty St (in the residential section just east of the weigh station).  Safe to say MnDOT doesn't plan to do anything further than this for the next couple decades absent a MAJOR infusion of cash.

The new Moorhead railroad underpass is finally ready to open. US 10/75 underwent a minor reroute to make that 1-block jog between Main and Center along 11th St instead of 8th.
