OK, how about an old outlined US 101 shield in Mountain View, CA.  BTW, this sign has been replaced with a new reflective sign in 2006 that includes an exit number for the San Antonio Road exit.

The northbound sign was replaced in 2006.  It was part of a larger project to remove the "butterfly" sign bridges which included the Rengstorff Ave/Amphitheater Pkwy and Oregon Expwy/Embarcadero Rd exits on US 101.

AARoads is saying that the southbound outlined US 101 shield at the Rengstorff Avenue exit has also been replaced but I think this is an error.  My Christmas shopping plans will take me though that area so I will check on that sign.
