Ole Kentucky with its tunnel visor amber and cut out visors for red and green on their signals.

One intersection in Kissimmee, FL has a cut out for the red and tunnel for the amber and green on SB John Young Parkway at US 192.  It reminded me of what that photo of yours shows that Kentucky loves to use on all their installations.
Speaking of traffic signals Kentucky has been very widely adopting FYAs around the state. Their everywhere in NKY, and Lexington Metro, I haven't been on enough surface streets in the Louisville Metro to figure out if they have been widely adopting FYAs. I've also seen some in Bowling Green.

Does that now mean two tunnel visors for both yellow arrows and still the cutouts on top and bottom?

Great job on those Cumberland Gap photos iBW2!  I have never seen the area and was always curious as to what it looked like.

US 101 is THE backbone of the Pacific coast from Bandon OR to Willits CA.  Industry, tourism and local traffic would be gone or severely crippled without it being in functioning condition in BOTH states.

Nice looking building. I have a thing for columns mixed with contemporary architecture.

It's been called the Trans Majal before.

I hate that building. Like a lot of government buildings, it's overbuilt and a lot of taxpayer money was wasted on the design. Something more spartan and simple would have been a better use of taxpayer dollars.

Plus, the interior of that building has an open floor plan with lots of glass walls, cubicles with half-height dividers and very little privacy for the office occupants. I am thankful that I don't work in that building. When the building was designed in the late 90s/early 00s, those open floor plans were all the rage, and from what I understand, more offices are going away from them now back to a traditional setup with more privacy. Thank God.

4th Street from Tower Place.

I have to correct you on this. You're EAST of the former Tower Place Mall here, and these skywalks weren't part of Tower Place, in any event -- they just connected to it, which they don't now. That particular skywalk goes between a parking garage over top of the Fourth Street Wendy's and the Atrium buildings. Still, nice photo sets!
