A yard with retired Marbelite LPS-20 pedestrian signals. Circa 1983. Brooklyn, New York. In the early 1980s, New York City removed all of its pedestrian signals from service (mainly Marbelite LPS-20 pedestrian signals) and replaced them with new (then) Winko-Matic 16" VI 2L AG pedestrian signals. By 1985, the entire conversion was finished.

Here's a couple of old pics of traffic lights in Havana, Cuba before 1959 (notice Canada Dry was there and all the cars are U.S. made):

Here's two old traffic lights that I photographed back on Sunday.

Sadly, these lights are now gone. :(  Was at that intersection the other day and they've been replaced with all new lights.

Here's a few from Rockford, Illinois, the regional capital of old and odd traffic signals.

A few really old ones in my area...

How old are the signals in those pictures? They look 1970s-ish to me.

These look like Frankensignals.

Roadrunner75

Washington St. in Hoboken has some old ones - and most intersections on this street only have a single overhead signal off to one side.
This looks to be the oldest:
https://www.google.com/maps?ll=40.737311,-74.029972&spn=0.000008,0.006539&t=m&z=18&layer=c&cbll=40.737221,-74.031022&panoid=CVkcRAU6dDD-jeNqZuAFbA&cbp=12,12.87,,0,2.31
NYC blows it out of the water, but these are old for NJ.  Not sure why they've stuck with only one signal per intersection on this very busy street.  Apparently style over safety.

Here is still one left on CR 604 in Iselin, NJ.  Also to note that there is a wire above providing a conduit to the far right signal.
Years ago the signal on the left was the only one there, and I guess the Township of Woodbridge who owns the signal did not want to spend extra money to run a conduit under the pavement to the added signal assembly so they did it cheaply.
Every day is a winding road, you just got to get used to it.

I have a couple of shots from Mayville, North Dakota, taken in 2003 and 2013. What I actually remember most about this is its EXTREMELY loud controller making very loud solenoid-y noises as it stepped through phases. There wasn't nearly enough traffic to warrant a signal here, though I'm guessing at some point in the semi-distant past, the multi-state Hwy 200 was routed through this intersection (it's now a few blocks south).

I kinda chuckled when I saw that this ped signal was manufactured in Cleveland, OH, yet I don't even think any municipality in the Metro Cleveland area ever used this particular model!!

I'm not sure if that signal was from the 1960s, since I recall Philly's earliest mast-arm installations being in the early-1970s, Maybe that signal was originally post-mounted and then put on a mast sometime in the '70s, but the Eagle Flatback mast-arm installations I know are legit 1970s.

Oh and the signals in your picturers are pretty damn ancient, I believe that CH Art Decos and 4-Ways date all the way back to the 1940s! Same with the Eagle 4-Ways, but for that 12" Eagle Flatback cluster is very old, but not to old, probably installed around 1970.

North Philly has a few pretty old ones left, I saw a set of post-mounted Crouse-Hinds Type Ms (1960s probably?), but as of this past summer they got replaced by Econolites. The oldest ones I saw are '70s-vintage 12" Eagle flatback mast-arm installations, if not that then post-mounted Eagle Marks.

The double reds were popular in parts of Arkansas in the mid-60's to mid 70's. The
Crouse-hinds DT 4-way looks similar to one that used to be in Humboldt, TN
