Well I did not fully clinch VA 20 until I was 31 in 2023.

Congrats on clinching your avatar!

Now just waiting for the inevitable "Have you clinched your avatar" thread ...
(for the record, I have ... but in my case that's not too hard.)

Never been on mine. It's an aspirational road. I used to have CO5 as my avatar, but then jlam started posting and had another CO state route and it make it hard to see where I posted.

I've been on Autoroute Vivian.

Maybe I should switch to some sort of Québec route.

Well I did not fully clinch VA 20 until I was 31 in 2023.

All I had left before today was between SR-622/SR-655 in Buckingham County and US 15.

Today I also clinched VA-300 and VA-307.

Well, it would be pretty hard for me to clinch I-41 :bigass:.

I've clinched a few other roads over the weekend. Now I'm down to just 30 miles of "orange" roads in Aragon I still have to get, but they are all over the place.
Supporter of the construction of several running gags, including I-366 with a speed limit of 85 mph (137 km/h) and the Hypotenuse.

Please note that I may mention "invalid" FM channels, i.e. ending in an even number or down to 87.5. These are valid in Europe.

I finished up I-20 two weeks ago; my first clinched route over 1000 miles.

It shows myself having US 17 and US 301 (done in March 2023) as my clinched routes over 1,000 miles.  If I combine all of US 19 including US 19E/US 19W, that would count too (fully done as of May 2023).

I do not have any 1,000 mile interstates fully clinched yet.  (I-95 is the closest easily.)  I am close to that in regard to I-64 though (done in June 2022, would have been September 2021 if it was not closed on the east side of Louisville when I attempted it).

Three >1000 mile interstates for me:

I-25 (First traveled in June 1991, finished in June 1996)
I-70 (First traveled in March 1988, finished in January 2021)
I-95 (First traveled in June 1998, finished in November 2021)

*yawn*

Probably not going to complete I-70 any time soon, but I only have ~100 miles each for I-75 and I-95 for their respective clinches. I'm the only one in my family with a valid passport, anyhow (depending if the State Department is currently a functioning passport-renewing apparatus at the moment).

Aw, now I feel bad. However, it'll only be a few months until I change away from CO 14 when I move to Fort Collins. I have indeed clinched CO 14, but I have yet to clinch my future avatar of US 287. That's a bit taller of a task, though it is my most-traveled US Highway.

No need to feel bad. I've been kind of obsessed with Tuktoyaktuk since I first heard about it as a kid over 30 years ago. Now that it has its own numbered highway destination, it makes for a good avatar. Plus, NWT's signs are awesome and we're pretty unlikely to have a resident become a regular poster here.

I was riding around the Irish Hills area of Michigan yesterday when I came across a state highway I had never heard of which was M-124. I was in Brooklyn and went south to US-12 east then took M-124 back to Brooklyn not knowing exactly where it ended and I ended up back at an intersection I was at probably 20 minutes earlier.

I looped to clinch that last summer when I took US 12 before the Michigan City Meet.

Forgot to add that on I-72 I'm only missing from the western terminus in Hannibal to IL 4 in Springfield. That's more than half the route, but it's not a long interstate!

NWI_Irish96

Just got back from a family trip where I added I-97, I-395, I-595 and I-795 in Maryland.
Indiana: counties 100%, highways 100%
Illinois: counties 100%, highways 61%
Michigan: counties 100%, highways 56%
Wisconsin: counties 86%, highways 23%

Sapphuby

Finished a trip where I clinched IL 6 and nearly finished off US 24 from Madison, MO to Peoria, IL. Added plenty of newly traveled routes to my list as well.

Rothman

Clinched a whole bunch in California due to Sacramento meet.  Had been on most, but hadn't clinched the entire route: I-280, I-680, I-780, I-880, I-580, I-505, I-380 and I-305...
