The Texas Department of Transportation is going to renumber all existing interstates within the state of Texas as branches of I-69 to reaffirm that state's commitment to I-69.

Though it remains to be seen if all the interstate renumberings are going to be I-69 with suffix letters or x69 3DIs.

Some of it is not as obvious as normal. Interstate 2 becomes Interstate ln(2).

ln(2)≈0.69

Ahhhhh, almost had me there.  I'd have looked quite the fool. An April Fool, if you will.

Hey, that's one scary thought! But nonetheless, a great joke, and a nod to TX's ongoing obsession with I-69.
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!
