Florida 739 was an easy one for me to think of, having rode on it several times in the last few years with the construction of Metro Parkway extension and such in Ft. Myers.

I must say I'm disappointed that this slot didn't go to NY 747, seeing as it's named for being in an airport.

Can a 747 even land or take off at Stewart Airport?  Is there enough runway?

I don't recall that road having a route number, but then, I moved completely out of New York State in 2000, and even so, never lived anywhere near Orange County.

vdeane

It got numbered when the interchange with I-84 was built.

I was going to post one, but busman slipped in before I had a chance.

I know at least the next 3 can be Ohio routes too. Go ahead and post a NY 747 anyway if you want- it's not like it's forbidden or anything! (It just wont count for the game, which who really cares.) Just as long as we know 748 is next if we want to progress.

Yes, it's a military airfield. I believe even the space shuttle can (could) land there.

It didn't before 2000; it was numbered with the construction of the interchange on I-84 in 2007.

I suppose Lake Okeechobee took up too much of the 7xx-zone, leaving spare numbers for the Panhandle to use.

Anyone have 752?
