To whomever asked -- yes, the square Ohio county route markers are very common.
Government would be tolerable if not for politicians and bureaucrats.

Just wanted to say, despite some people's initial reception, which can be described as "tepid at best," we've are getting rather close to my initial goal of 200.  Thank you to everyone who's been participating- it feels like we've built something together, and that's a pretty good feeling.  This is just a silly game, but it makes me wonder what other collaborative projects this community can accomplish.

After 200, the moratorium on posting within under 10 of your last post will be lifted, and replaced by a ban on posting within under 5 after your last post.  Basically, the 10+ rule becomes the 5+ rule.  This means you can post 224, 229, and 234 if you want, for example.
Let's see how far this rabbit hole can go.  Im also envisioning what other games we can play with this...

Next up is 184.

Another possibility for if we get stuck: If 24 hours passes without the next number being posted, eligible posters (per 5+) can skip the next number and post 2-ahead. Maybe have an increasing skip-ahead window, so that you can move 3 ahead after 30 hours, 4 ahead after 36 hours, etc. When somebody posts, the clock resets. Numbers that are skipped can be filled in at any time, though the 5+ rule still applies with skipped numbers.

I think that, in the interest of staying true to the "challenge", I want to make sure no numbers are skipped. But what I'll do is make anyone eligible to post the next number if 24 hours have passed. Or maybe 48 hours.  Even if you did post within the last 5.
Again, everything will be updated in the OP so you dont have to scour the entire thread to find every last tweak to the guidelines.

Next is 184!  I know Illinois has one. Anyone been to Boise?

There should be no upward right arrow on exit 35A as that is not the exit point for that?

The sign for 35A should indicate "1/4 mile" and not have the arrow (which implies that the ramp on the right is for both 35A and 35B).  Instead of replacing the sign, they chose the budget option and placed a ground mounted "South 34" trailblazer sign just beyond the Exit 35B sign.
