For the folks keeping score or looking for photos by location, the following states are all already out of play:

Alaska (none)
Hawaii (27)
Vermont (29)
Rhode Island (30)
New Hampshire (44)
Massachusetts (60)
Connecticut (93 / 100 until recently)
Maryland (109)
New York (131)
Delaware (166)
New Jersey (172 - DRPA gaffe notwithstanding)
West Virginia (185)
Kentucky (191)
South Carolina (220)

Ohio is the next state that will go out of play, after 247.

This may be me being nitpicky, but Kentucky has an exit 192, and South Carolina has an exit 221. Regardless, they're still out.
After Ohio, the next states to be out are Idaho (263), Louisiana (267), Minnesota (276), and Arkansas (281).
Does Indiana also need to be on this list with exit 262 on I-65?

On I-70 outside St. Louis, two miles away from the nightmarish (to Baltimore anyway) I-170:
Go Cubs Go! Go Cubs Go! Hey Chicago, what do you say? The Cubs are gonna win today!

I am not sure if they have resigned the exits on I-69. If so, they go up to the mid 300's.
I's traveled:

They have been resigned since 2012. The highest exit is now 357.

DRPA gaffe?

Oh, and how do the exit "letters" on the Brigantine Beach Connector play into this challenge?

Good catch! I totally missed that one.

Not the best picture, but I did take it just to use it for this game!  This is I-80 EB in Iowa.

The first exit on I-76 in New Jersey is 354, which would be the mileage if the exit was in Penn., followed by 1C which of course is correct for New Jersey.

For the record, the posted exit number is what matters for this challenge. Not what the "correct" exit number is.

This game would be more fun if it required mileage-based exit signs and disallowed sequential signs.

Anyway, here's Kentucky's newest Exit 10.

Where would this be? Exits on I-64 would me much much higher.

I looked over for exit 243's.  I got turned down almost everywhere I looked.  The only ones I found were I-81 in Virginia and I-95 in Maine.

I'll use this one to override the GMSV Exit 244 posted earlier.  I take us to I-95 in Maine.
