That 20 shield wasn't there when I clicked post.  :-o Nor was the one before it!  :hmmm: It only told me one new reply had been posted, the I-35 one, but it still fit so I kept it.

I've noticed I only get one notice of a new post until I log in. There could be a dozen new posts, but I just get the first one.

That is by default in SMF to prevent the server from being overloaded.

Anyways, to also prevent missing a new post when you're making a new post, you might want to take a look @ this post:
https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=2092.msg46322#msg46322
That will alert you and tell you how many new posts have been made since you hit the "Reply" button when you try to make a new post. ;)

It would look something like this:
The following error or errors occurred while posting this message:
Warning - while you were typing 2 new replies have been posted. You may wish to review your post.

I don't use post notifications on here... when I said that it only told me that 1 new post had been made, I was referring to that red little warning (which I believe is turned on by default), which only said one, and the updated Topic Summary (look down) only showed that one new post.

I'm not an SMF noob... ;)

This is I-240N (West-Side) in downtown Memphis although the signage doesn't reflect it.  It doesn't actually change into I-40E for another mile or so.

It could be because there's no more exits before I-40.

Another child of 40

Memphis, north of the airport, eastbound on some access road?  Alas, no state named shields in the area, but the place looks familiar.

Incorrect.  I-240 does have another exit now after #31.  Exit #32 for Jackson Ave.

No. Jackson Ave/TN 14 is officially on I-40, what should have been 240 except for the NIMBY's.

Last exit on 240 before I-40 is Madison Ave
