I-10, which I've only passed by at its interchanges with I-95 and I-295 in Florida.
EDIT:As for US routes, that distinction belongs to US-87.

Prior to May, I-10 (still only been on a short section of it; US 17 to I-95).  Currently, I-94.

It would be I-15 for me, if not for the half-mile (one exit) I was on it in Downtown Salt Lake City.

Western I-84 I've been on for 5 miles (its westernmost 5 miles, in fact).

That leaves I-29 as the longest Interstate I can't even fudge having been on.

If we count the whole system, including the Puerto Rico interstates, mine's I-PR2 at 145+ miles.

If we count all 2dis and 3dis in the 50 states, it's I-135 in Kansas at about 97 miles (though I've passed by both ends).

If we count only 2dis, it's the western I-86 at about 63 miles (though I've passed by one end).

If we pretend that eastern I-86 counts as traveling on western I-86, it's I-14 at about 25 miles.

This thread made me realize that the 3 longest 50 states interstate routes I've not traveled are 3dis (I-840 and California's I-680 being the ones in addition to I-135 mentioned above).

Mine is either I-84, although I have been to the eastern terminus of the western I-84.

Why not open this thread up a little bit? It looks like US 281 is the longest US route I've never been on.

Longest interstate for me is I-94, though I've traveled all of the major (x0 and x5) routes.

As for US Highways, I've traveled on the top 22 routes, which makes US 11 the longest I've never done.

Sortable table here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Interstate_Highways

I-85 barely counts: we used a short overlap with I-285 long ago

Longest never traveled at all: I-59

85 never overlaps 285. They're different roadways, even when they're parallel.

It might have been different back in the day (I was a kid), before an expansion of that area, if the Atlanta detail map is accurate: http://www.dot.ga.gov/DriveSmart/MapsData/Documents/HwyAndTransportationMaps/1975_1976.pdf. If not, then I-85 takes the top spot.

Hmmm...Iím not really sure

Of Primaries, I have traveled on parts of I-90, 80, 70, 40, 20, 10; 95, 85, 75, 65, 55, 35, 25, 15, 5...Only I-30 and I-45 not covered there, and neither are super long...This might take some thought

Longest Iíve never been on is I-40.  Only N-S primaries Iíve been on are I-65 (brief portion paired with I-70 as a passenger), I-75 (very briefly in the Tampa area), and I-95 (most of it north of I-4 and south of Waterville, ME with most of it driven between the DC Beltway and Mass Pike, and from 495 through NH).  Only E-W primaries Iíve been on are I-10 (New Orleans Airport to I-110 in Biloxi except for most of the portion bypassed by I-610, all driven); I-70 ( Indy airport to downtown as a passenger, and from I-81 to the Park & Ride driving); I-80 (PA 33- I-287, and GSP to I-95 all driving); and I-90 (US 219 to I-88 passenger only, I-88 to I-93 driving).

Adding in US highways, mine appears to be US 68 at about 550 miles.

TM users, if you're looking for answers to these based on what you have in the system, I can run manual DB queries.  Some day I will add or someone will contribute some front-end code to show answers to these kinds of questions on site.

I-59 by a long shot.

got a whole bunch of segmented route sections which fall into distant laps behind.  The only non-segmented routes are 2, 14 and 97.

Amusingly, I live in the northern part of the lower 48, but I have more of I-10 and I-40 than I have of I-80. (nearly all of what I lack on I-80 is between Cheyenne and Reno (save the portion around Salt Lake City).

Living in SoCal for a short duration and having a parent in AZ (until last year) also helped get me the western portions of I-10 and I-40 along with I-70.

Many have mentioned I-59 in this thread. That & I-12 are my only 2-digit interstates I have completely clinched.

I-10 for me, which seems to affect a few people in the northern half of the US as well.

For many of us in the south, interstates like 80, 90, 94 & US highways like 2 through 10 are unreachable.

Looking at US routes...I think I may have traveled on at least a few blocks of US 20 on one of my visits to Boston, but I'm not sure. If I have, then the longest one I haven't been on would be US 12. I've also only been on US 6 thanks to it hopping on Interstates in Providence and Hartford.

Between travel, duty stations, and Navy trips, I've been on most.  Thus, the longest Interstate I haven't touched yet is the western I-76.  I've been on every original north-south 1/2-digit route save I-17 and I-19.

Since US routes are now mentioned, US 95 would be my longest untouched of that category...

I-35 is the longest 2di I have not been on.

Not sure about U.S. highways, though, as I am sure I have ridden on many of them on local jaunts in cities I have visited, and just not paid attention.  U.S. 62 may be the longest one I have not been on.
