Anyone who claims to never have been on AR 980 flies straight to the top.

Only it they've been on the other 979...

There is also PA 980, which I have personally clinched along with at least 7 others according to Travel Mapping.

Also, with 30 or so AR 980s (all connecting small airports to the rest of the Arkansas highway system), if you do any off-Interstate traveling in Arkansas, you'll soon stumble on at least one of them. But, as Rothman notes, finding an AR 980 is the easy part.

I need 203 as well, and plan to get VA 203 soon.  Also VA 204 and VA 205 are in that area, so I will try to snag those as well.  I try to look about 50 places ahead of the next one I need (which is 167).

I-40: from Gallup to Albuquerque and in Amarillo
US41: Wendy's stop south of Atlanta
No 42

Once I get to Louisville, Colorado and get CO42, then it would be 43, with none of those near me.

Still about 7-8 numbers back from catching Oscar.

I clinched VA 203 and VA 215 yesterday so I am now up to 217.  (PA 217 better be ready...)

I picked up WA 19 recently, so I'm stuck at 29 now. Same as one of my fellow Wshingtonians, Bruce.

Looks like our closest options are CA-29 in the Bay Area and ID-29 near Butte, MT.

Unless we can count the TV Highway, which is Highway 29 but not signed as such because of Oregon's weird system.

- PA-34 near Newport
- PA-35 near Mifflintown
- NJ-36 on the Jersey Shore

That should take me to 38. I don't believe I've been on one, but PA-38 parallels I-80 west of me, so that should be easy next time I head west.

Of course, I just realized that I was not nitpicky enough to sneak in VA 217 when I drove I-81 right by it in Marion in September.  Oh well, forcing myself to drive PA 217 gives me a lot more mileage.
