If there was ever a case for a "dislike post" button, it would be this.

It bothered the State legislature when the community was simply known as "Y."  The state mandated all communities must have at least three letters in the name.

The one in Arkansas solved this by naming themselves Y City (or as AHTD signed it, "Y" City).

I needed to follow up with Lowe's on scheduling delivery and installation of an appliance. The salesman had given me his business card, with a phone number with extension, and instructions to call him today if I didn't hear back before then.

So I called the phone number and was greeted by "Lowe's AI", which wanted me to say what I wanted. I said "extension 1234". "I'm sorry. Please say what I can help you with. "Extension 1234." "I'm sorry, I didn't quite get that." Okay, so I punched the numbers in on the keypad. "I'm sorry—" It eventually failed out and dumped me on a human, to which I said "Please transfer me to extension 1234", which she quickly did.

But why was the system designed to make that require a human? What happened to "If you know your party's extension, you may dial it now"?

When I use a USB flash drive or an SD card in my Mac laptop, and then I put it in my Windows laptop, and it gets littered with "ghost" files that start with ._ or random .DS_Store files, and I have to search for them and delete them, only for the to reappear the next time I use the card/flash drive in a Mac and then transfer it to a PC.

All pills should be small enough to easily swallow.  It's stupid that not all are.

Also, regular brand-name Advil tablets are sugar-coated, which makes them way easier to swallow.  That right there is enough to make me never buy the generic brands.

Sally Solomon, an alien disguised as a human, was told she would be given "the pill," meaning an oral contraceptive.  Upon being handed a round pack of them, she looked intimidated a seemed concerned that that such a large pill would be difficult to swallow.  Calling it "the pill" does make it sound like there's only one.

I take a medication that comes in chewable tablets. The tablets contain sucralose/Splenda, and they taste like ass. If I chew them up, they leave a bad taste in my mouth that lingers for hours. So I swallow them whole. I can still taste them even when I just swallow them. I wish they were just capsules.
