Is anyone else here into his stuff? I'm a really big fan of Oysterhead and I was going to get tickets to Primus's A Tribute To Kings before that got postponed to 2021 due to the virus. Really good tickets too, a pre-show meet and greet and photo op with Primus, all that good stuff. I also thought about going to Bonnaroo until that was canceled too. Also a lot of his more obscure work is neat like the Flying Frog Brigade...I've listened to pretty much every song he has ever been a part of and there's a lot of stuff that's hardly even known about outside of his biggest fans like Live @ Slim's.

By way of his stuff I've also been introduced to Phish, which I am now a huge fan of, along with a number of smaller bands that have good stuff.

I liked Primus's Frizzle Fry and saw them at Lollapalooza in Philadelphia around 1993.  Sort of lost track of them after that.

I had Sailing the Seas of Cheese on CD back in the day, back when we were all saying "Primus sucks!"

Check out The Claypool Lennon Delirium; they do a lot of proggy stuff, including covers of Pink Floyd and King Crimson. Les has even had a Canadian bassist named Geddy Lee join on stage.

Sure.  My son plays the double bass.  He's a fan of Mr. Krinkle.
