Sort of opposite of the last post, this is a speed limit which might be a bit fast... the segment of the tollway between I-635 and the George Bush Turnpike is certainly narrow with minimal to no shoulders, quite a few vertical and horizontal curves, and several exits. I believe a few of the curves are signed with a 50 mph advisory. When I drove through here, I was keeping it around 60-65 mph - which hey, I guess the speed limit is technically effective if it was a true maximum and I wasn't comfortable exceeding it.

I could reasonably see this being a 55
mph speed limit in virtually every other state or even area of Texas.
