Pretty short list here too:

2dis:
I-4 (FL)
I-10 (TX, LA, MS, AL, FL)
I-12 (LA)
I-65 (AL)
I-75 (FL)

3dis:
I-110 (MS, LA)
I-395 (FL)
I-610 (LA) after a very frustrating visit to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. Took this westbound to I-10 to return to Baton Rouge, though my memory of this is kinda fuzzy. No I wasn't drunk at the time.

Ridden as a passenger on a number of others, seeing as I'm 23, though don't really have much memory of the exact routes.

After Friday, I can add Interstate 35 in Austin to the list! :D

Short list for me too, all in NY (well, I've driven on what will be I-86 in its dip into Pennsylvania): I-81, I-481, I-86, I-87, I-787, I-90, I-190, I-290, I-390, I-490, I-590, I-690, I-790, and I-890.  The majority of my clinched interstates are when I was a passenger.

I....admire that you somehow didn't clinch I-180 in Wyoming- that's significantly more difficult than clinching it!

I had to go back and review the tape...  Here's the story.  I was driving I-80 east to help my uncle move from Sacramento and we stayed at a Best Western at the Hitching Post Inn.  I believe we got off US30.  Doing a google search, it is no longer Best Western, and is now a Ramada, located on West Lincolnway.

I do not fully remember who led the driving that morning.  If I led it, then I would have went east and down to I-180.  If he led, then he would have went backwards and used the I-25 spur back to I-80.  I didn't know if I clinched it, because I forgot where the hotel was nor did I remember where I-180 ended.

Upon further review, the true answer is indeterminate.  I *think* we went east leaving the hotel, and if so, upon further review of the map, then I clinched it.  If not, then I was on I-25 for a *very* short distance.

I'm mad at myself for not knowing the real answer.  All I remember was seeing a I-180 sign.  Can't remember with 100% certainty if I was on it or not.

I-69 (the southern Indiana portion)

Do you mean the 2 mile section that is actually open, and connects to IN-57?

The rest of it is still under construction.

Or have they already renumbered I-164 as I-69?

If you saw an I-180 sign somewhere other than on I-80, you almost certainly went east and clinched it. There aren't (and have never been, to my knowledge) I-180 signs anywhere but on the road itself or right at the intersection with it on the north end or the interchange with it on the south end

Sykotyk

Yeah, there's no "TO" signs anywhere in town. There's just the signs at the intersections and the BGS on I-80.

More than likely you were on it. But, as with me, if I can't remember specifically being on it (I mark every road with a highlighter usually the day or day after I drove on it), then I don't highlight it and must reclinch it at another time.

Is there anyone who has driven on every Interstate in the lower 48? It doesn't have to be the entire length, just a short hop between two exits is enough. I imagine there must be someone on here who has.

At least one.  I wouldn't be surprised if there are more, especially if you just count 2dis and don't insist on every 3di as well.

Now, not necessarily, with the new Interstates in south Texas (particularly I-69C).

With new Interstates sprouting up all over, it used to be a big game of whack-a-mole.  Still is, to some extent.

I've driven on I-22 (still numbered US-78), I-49 (recently resigned from US-71) and I believe most of the new southern Texas ones, as US-83 and US-281.

I've never driven on I-99.

Oscar, you are only missing I-69C, and I-69E south of I-2. Plus others that CHM marks as clinched by you might not have been traveled on since interstate designation has been created.

In the near-ish future, you'd also be missing part of I-49 near Texarkana.
