Madison, Wisconsin road meet: September 27, 2025

There are a lot of innovative roads that have been built in Madison, Wisconsin over the last ten years, and this fall I'll be hosting a road meet to check out those and other notable road sights in Dane County. Let me know above which dates work for you.

Be aware that of those dates, the Badgers have home games on October 11 and 18.

My vacation time resets on October 3 ("work anniversary"), so any date in October will work best for me.

I've got a lot going on in my life this year.  Because of that, when this meet was first announced, my instinct was that I should sit it out... but the more I think about it, the more I would like to try to attend.  I'm probably 50/50 at this point and will refrain from voting on the date.

I would love to attend if possible.  We will see.

All right, I'll go with Saturday, September 27 for our road meet in Madison! The full meet details will be shared later this summer.

Here's my preliminary plan for what we'll be seeing next month.

Lunch will be at 11:30 at the west Madison location of Wisconsin's classic fast pizza chain, Rocky Rococo. We'll move to the Junction Park & Ride nearby at 12:30 to start the tour.

At the end, I'll have an optional visit to a local mall for the retail geeks.
