Does this mean that if I talk about coke for my blast furnace, you will be standing by with soap and brush?

As always, Coca-Cola :). It has been my favorite drink since the 90s

You strike me as the type who WOULD have a blast furnace around, just for the intrigue.

Around here it's "pop."

And I thought the Pepsi throwback was just a temporary limited edition thing.

One of the local stores in my small burg had the Mexico Coke, but I didn't understand why anyone would pay outrageous prices for something in glass bottles with Spanish language printed on them.

It was a temporary limited Summer thing.  One of my local stores just happens to have some of it still.

It's still pretty readily available in Laramie too

Hmmm. "Fizzy drink"? Is that a common term over there?

Yeah, I guess you're right. Dr. Pepper does taste like toilet water.

You're joking, right?  Dr. Pepper tastes much better than Coca-Cola or Pepsi IMO.

BigMattFromTexas

Dr. Pepper is like the god of all drinks. I don't see how anyone doesn't like it! And I call everything "coke" unless it's Dr. Pepper, no need to insult the Dr before I drink it..

The drink sitting on my desk is a Diet Dr. Pepper, so I'll let you decide whether I'm joking.

I don't know of any "Diet" drink that tastes that good.  Try the normal Dr. Pepper (or the Heritage version made with real Sugar) before you diss the Dr. ;)

The Giant Eagle I found it at was running a $2 for 6 special, which seemed to be a popular price point as the shelf was picked clean in a few days.

I bet half the Dr. Pepper drinkers haven't ever tasted Dublin Dr. Pepper, that stuff is the best type EVER! I got a 6-pack last time I went through there.

I have to admit, the Sugar "Heritage" version that was out during the Summer is REALLY good.  I like it much better than the normal HFCS version.

Neither do I. I mean, I don't drink much soda anyway, may be the most I've ever had in a day was 2.

I actually prefer the HFCS version of Dr. Pepper. Maybe it's just because I'm so used to it?

Well, I personally like both of them (if Dr. Pepper is an option @ a restaurant, that's what I'll get 99.9% of the time when I'm in the mood for soda instead of water).  But if I had a choice between the HFCS or Sugar version, I'd take the Sugar version 100% of the time.

Dr Pepper is one of the few soft drinks that I can't tell a difference between diet and regular.

Coffee, tea, or water (any type except toilet :P). I don't usually drink soda (pop, I've called it both) if I don't have to.

Hot chocolate, milk.

...and tap water. I don't see the point in buying bottles of what I get for free otherwise.

TheHighwayMan3561

I'll drink any kind of pop except diet or any Mountain Dew (or variants thereof).

Actually aside from those (and the toilet water option) I'm perfectly fine with anything on this list.

Chocolate milk made with non-skim milk and lemonade are probably a small cut above the others though.
