Recently, WILMAPCO did a study for improving Delaware 2 (Capitol Trail / Kirkwood Highway) from Newark to Elsmere.  The final recommendations are interesting, including a couple of interchanges in the Midway area, and redoing the 2/141 interchange.

Any particular reason they painted the lanes 1, 2, 3 on 95 north at 295/495?

I think it's just for keeping helping crews / emergency responders keep track of the lanes through the shifts for all the bridge work going on in the marsh, especially since some of the work phases have groups of lanes splitting off and rejoining each other.

I believe 6 - 10 are painted on 95 South
