A photo of the current end of FL 414 at grade with CR 437 being redone so that the Apopka Bypass and FL 429 can be completed further.

This could have been posted in the Florida thread. Here are two pre-construction photos and one from two months ago: https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=2017.msg94541#msg94541
pre-1945 Florida route log

I accept and respect your identity as long as it's not dumb shit like "identifying as a vaccinated attack helicopter".

The plan there is very interesting that they have.  The total realignment of FL 429 and making the present FL 429 north of 414 a spur. I thought that it was going to be a directional interchange with future FL 451 from FL 429.  Now I see why there is a new road being graded at the curve south of CR 437A and no future bridge piers going on there.

I cannot wait till its all done, including the 414 and 429 concurrency.

I have some more recent photos as part of the new system is opened to traffic on SB 429.  The old 429 SB from Fl 414 to where the new alignment meets the old is now closed!  The ramp to SB 429 from CR 437A is closed and relocated 1/2 mile south of where the two routes cross again.

I will post them when my computer is back from repair.  My screen went on me, and am using someone else's computer and cannot upload my photos.  You will be impressed!

Here is one of the flyovers with its girders in place at the FL 414 and FL 429 interchange under construction.

Just drove through there on the 21st. Some images, including one in the opposite direction of what you posted!

A new shield went up for CR-437 southbound [click here to see the old one] after the road leaves US 441 by Plymouth Sorrento Road. In the background is a test pile and earth moving associated with the new Apopka Bypass. Some of the roadway will be elevated as it passes by the industrial area en route to the south.

Incidentally, CR-437 was part of my daily commute when I lived in Orlando, so it was quite a change for me to see the road work here for SR-414.

CR-437A southbound at Florida 414 Toll. Bridges for the future SR-414 mainline are already in place.

The southbound bridge that was the SR-429 mainline is already dismantled. Pass under the northbound bridge and there's the flyover that JP posted in the previous post in addition to the new eastbound on-ramp from future SR-451 south.

Here is one from March 1, 2012 of the the old FL 429 overpass torn down and the flyover in the other photos now useable.
