Not as dramatic as the one previously, but the Willits Welcome Sign.

Plus one along US 101 in Humboldt County, Northern California of the mountain scenery.

Wow didn’t know that sign lit up at night.

This one I took as it shows the topography of the suburban Bay Area as well as the yellow grass bare hills while rush hour traffic fills the lanes of I-80 here.

It’s actually a repurposed Reno Arch.  Willits definitely got their money’s worth getting some flair entering the downtown area.

Speaking of arches...

When I visited Alaska's North Slope back in 2018. This is next to the hotel I stayed at, just off the road. Arctic Ocean is in the background.

I was standing on it. Covered in snow. The arch is perpendicular to the road and ocean.

My wife took this from the passenger seat last night. The road aspect is sort of irrelevant compared to this nice sunset after a grey, rainy day.
