Had an unexpected day off with really warm late October weather.  Took the opportunity to do some exploring in southwest Kern County.  Hudson Ranch Road really stole the show as a scenic backroad.

The dirt portion of Cuddy Valley Road facing west to the top of Mount Pinos (Ventura County).  Interestingly even the small portion of the paved road (ends at 8,300 feet above sea level) in Ventura County is maintained by Kern County and has their postmile paddles.
