Born and raised in Mitchell, SD but currently reside in Ames, IA. 

As a kid, my family took many long-distance vacations via very small car.  The only thing to do, once exhausting other time-killers, was to study the roadside as it flew by.  I have a long-time fascination with transportation and highway transportation in particular.  Not sure why I've never discovered this place until now.
