Belleview Beltway

The Belleview Beltway is an 11.06 mile long arterial loop around the city of Belleview in Marion County. The unnumbered bypass follows SE 132nd Street Road from CR 484 in south Belleview to U.S. 27/441. Curving north around eastern reaches of Belleview, the beltway continues along SE 92nd Loop to SR 35 (SE 58th Avenue). SE 92nd Place extends the loop 1.69 miles west from SR 35 (Baseline Road) to U.S. 27/301/401.

Plans for a beltway around the east side of Belleview originated in 1993.1 The north phase of the bypass, connecting SR 35 (Baseline Road) with CR 25, opened to traffic on September 29, 2016.2 A $15.34 million project underway from September 18, 20153 to a ribbon cutting ceremony held on February 14, 2017 finished the long proposed Belleview Beltway (SE 92nd Loop) around the east side of Belleview. The final 5.2 miles of the bypass linked existing sections of the loop: SE 132nd Street Road to the south and SE 92nd Place Road to the north.4,5 With its completion, the beltway provides a truck bypass east from U.S. 301 to U.S. 27/441, north to CR 25 (Ocala Road) and SR 35 (Baseline Road), and west back to U.S. 27-301-441.
