California State Route 71 South
SR 71 straddles the eastern edge of the Chino Hills overlooking the Prado Flood Control Basin from SR 83 south to SR 91. The freeway transitions into a four lane expressway just beyond the entrance ramp from SR 83. 01/30/05
Construction expanded the remainder of SR 71 south from SR 83 to four lanes in 2005. The state route narrows with a concrete barrier separating traffic. 01/30/05
SR 71 south crosses into the northwestern wedge of Riverside County east of Abacherli Canyon. 01/30/05
SR 71 previously reduced to two lanes beyond the San Bernardino County line. 01/30/05
An at-grade intersection with a access road west to Aliso Canyon precedes the compact trumpet interchange with SR 91. 01/30/05
Traffic on SR 71 south partitions after the Santa Ana River bridge for SR 91 east to Corona and Riverside and west to Anaheim and Fullerton. Future work will upgrade this exchange. 01/30/05
