A short ramp carries motorists from Coburg Road north onto Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard east. MLK Boulevard travels east to Autzen Stadium, home of the Oregon Ducks college football team. The east-west through route becomes Centennial Boulevard en route to downtown Springfield.

Southwood Lane travels west along the freeway between the two half diamond interchanges of Exit 2.

Coburg Road enters the interchange complex with Interstate 105 & OR 126 and intersects Oakway Road and Southwood Lane at the eastbound off-ramp. Oakway Road heads south from Cal Young Road to end at Coburg Road. Southwood Lane travels west alongside the freeway to Country Club Road and the westbound on-ramp to West Eugene. Connections with the Delta Highway serve the Valley River Center mall.

Coburg Road leaves the Ferry Street Bridge and quickly encounters the 3rd Avenue off-ramp. The ramp is nothing more than a sharp right turn onto a residential street. 3rd Avenue serves the Skinner Butte Park area along the Willamette River.
